Praise the Lord
We are always very glad anytime, anyone takes the Gospel to the
lost.
We hope to be like Paul in this matter ...
Phip 1:18 "What then? notwithstanding, every
way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I
therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice."
Of course the Way of the Master is far from
contention and pretence.

The Difference
But, there are basic differences between what they do and us.
They seek to major in memorizing verses and
illustrations in order to take the prospect to an opportunity to
witness (present the plan of salvation).
We and those that work with us, are usually not
able to memorize these rebuttals (illustrations and verses) to meet
all the objections that come one's way. So we keep it very simple.

3 Questions
We ask 3 simple questions which by-passes all the objections and
rebuttals. While working in a public event booth, we also use a 3
Door Board as a point of reference. But away from these events,
which most people are when they witness, we keep it to these 3
simple questions ...
1. Did you know there was something God could not
do? (the first part of this question can be worded many ways,
eg. Someone showed me there was something God could not do, do you
know what it is? etc.)
2. God cannot let us into heaven, unless we are
born again (John 3.3), do you know for sure if you have been born
again?
Almost any reply other than "I am 100% sure" receives the following
3rd question.
These are some of the objections, but none are addressed.
"I have been baptized"
"I am Catholic"
"I am satisfied with my religion"
"I don't believe in God"
"I am ... " etc.
3. "But if I could show you how you could be 100%
sure, you sure would like to see it, wouldn't you?"
If they say No or nothing, or balk in any way, I fire back very
quickly, before they can say something they will feel later they
must defend,
"Now remember, I am not asking you to do anything, but just SEE it,
what would it hurt to just SEE it?"
When they agree, we show them the plan of salvation.

Getting them lost
Also, the Way of the Master method attempts to get them lost, before
the plan is presented.
We simply want to witness to them and in the witness, we attempt to
get them lost as any soul winning would want to do.
"Can't get them saved, until you get them lost."
We train soul winners in a single shift in the
soul winning booth to be a witness and utilize what they learn everywhere else.

Expediency
1. There is no class room time.
2. There is no Video to buy or watch. We do have a free Video which
is often used by churches to train shift leaders in a soul winning
booth. The Video is only what I have related here.
3. There is no Note Book to buy, study or read.
4. There are no verses and illustrations to memorize to meet
objections, because objections are ignored.
5. There are no confrontation experiences. No matter what the
prospect replies, we ask the 3rd question again.
Soul winners must simply nail down their witness.
It is also very good to formulate your testimony.

Written Help
In the soul winning booth we also provide a Witness Pamphlet, which
lends itself to be read WITH the prospect. Most soul winners read
it with different prospects a few times, then they are already formulating
their own method.

Time
Do you see that most Soul Winning Courses spend very much time,
print books, film videos to train people in how to get the prospect
to an open Bible?
We spend very, very little time in training soul
winners in getting the prospect in front of an open Bible and very
little time in training with the use of the Bible (plan of
salvation).
We are not against what everyone else does. God can use how ever
much or little is given Him. We just know an simpler way.

Illustrations
Recently we were at an event where 2 churches worked alternating
days for 12 days. We had 2-3 people working in the front of the
booth asking the 3 questions, then seating prospects for the soul
winners who were at 8 tables. Many times all 8 tables were filled
with 1-4 prospects each and then the 2-3 working up front (shift
leaders) would begin witnessing themselves. Most of the workers
were already soul winners and knew how to present the plan. But
there were some from each church who were able to lead their first
souls to the Lord. Everyone repeated again and again, "I can't
believe how easy it is".
Yesterday, my wife and I, and another couple
worked a small event from 10 to 4. We seated 60 prospects. 39
asked the Lord to save them. 6 heard a witness, but did not ask the
Lord to save them. 5 received assurance. 450 received a tract, we
will have to wait until Jesus comes to see what really happened there.
None of us had any bad encounters.
None of us are Bible scholars.
None of us dealt with objections.
We did see some very moving experiences with people who sat down
alone, with friends, and some with their whole family.

Realizations
The most powerful notion is when the soul winners realize that they
are only going to witness to prospects who have ALREADY ASKED TO SEE
how to be saved.
The next most powerful notion is when the workers
up front (shift leaders) realize that someone who has only been
saved since that morning, can seat prospects for 1-4 tables (if
there is a good crowd).
This is literally "Hitting the ground running".

Successful?
How many of these people really, really, really got saved?
Since we only plant and water the seed and God gives the increase,
we have no idea. We feel very confident that it was way too few.
But we are very confident, too, that everyone we told, heard it.
Some were sincere, some not. Some placated us, some did not. Etc.
There were many who said they wished their church would do something
like that. The lady who ran the festival booth rentals, was very
happy with the results and told us to come back.
I realize that I have written way too much and may
have over estimated your interest past your original question.
