Raising the Number of Professions
Since you only had 10 professions per day, we should address methods
in seating prospects for a witness.
The very best way to get people seated
in the booth is with the 3+3+3= Seated Method, which employs the 3
Doors and 3 Questions and inside of 3 minutes a person can be well
on their way to hearing the Gospel. I would need to speak to the
person who is in charge of the booth to ensure this method is used
correctly. By this I mean, use a
Shift Leader up front to Greet,
Meet and Seat the prospects so the
Workers at the tables can witness
to them. God must do the saving. But God is waiting for a
Christian to speak the message or hand out a tract to get the ball
rolling.

Getting them to Church?
Unfortunately, for the Church, when we speak or hand out a tract we
may only be planting the seed or watering. There is no immediate
fruit for the Church. But rest assured that God's Word does not
return void. With every seed planted and watered, there is a very
definite result for Jesus Christ, possibly for the Church.

Watch how this Works!
1. The seed is received and God
continues to work using the watering of others to bring the person
to Jesus - Your efforts are blessed
2. The seed is not received and God does not continue to work, until
another seed is broadcast by others - Your efforts are blessed here,
too
3. The seed is received and the person
is saved - Your efforts are blessed, but not blessed any more than
the previous 2 scenarios
4. The seed has already been received,
but God does not work because the person is refusing your efforts to
grow in Christ - Your efforts are blessed
5. The seed has already been received,
and God does continue to work because the person is yielding more
and more to your efforts to grow in Christ - Your efforts are
blessed
Since your efforts are blessed in every
situation, you win no matter what the prospect does. Contrarily,
the church does not always win unless it is involved in witnessing
or receives a new member. So you might say, our best work is for
Christ, not the Church. I understand that the Church and Christ are
inseparable. Analogies never hold perfectly. The point is to look
for the positive (Jesus is lifted), not the negative (no visitors).

Follow-up, but Connect
First
There are some things that can be done
to follow-up for more opportunities to disciple. The problem here
is that there are many variables. Too many to address on a written
page.

But listen to this
We know a Pastor who gets 3-6 people every year from a very small
county fair. When asked how he does it, he tells us the same story
everybody else does. He goes by to see them or they just show up.
We can say that making a connection
with the prospect is important. Illustration: A pastor told me of
another pastor who would go to the hospital to see his members. He
would walk in the patient's room, take over the conversation from
other visitors, stay less than 5 minutes and after leaving, everyone
in the room felt much better and commented about how he cares for
his members. Including the ones who were not sick. He connected
with them. There was not a display of how he felt, but a connection
to how he felt. It is not a gift, but a skill which can be
learned. I have tried to practice this myself and have learned a
little. My wife is a lot better. Her prospects want to hug her,
they ask for her phone number, they want to know what church she
goes to. She connects.

We cannot be at everyone's event
In reality, we are not needed, except possibly to make sure …
1. you are using the 3 questions
properly
2. you are taking the prospect as far
as possible ( I take almost everyone through a prayer, then warn
them afterwards about praying insincerely)
3. you are getting contact info for
follow-up
4. you are connecting with prospects or
using others in the booth to connect
5. you are working only for Jesus
Contact us personally, so we can ask
questions and get some feed-back. This is helpful for us to see if
we are being clear in our explanations.
