Calling on
Prospects
The following are some things I have done and seen done.
Everything and anything works when the prospect sees we care.
These few lines simply are ways to show we care.
It is very difficult to overcome some of their
preconceived notions in order for them to see our love for them, so
perseverance is vital.

This is just
like Sales
The person who shows up when the product is needed is the one
who gets the sale. The more often you show up at their door,
the more apt you are to be there when they have a need.
Sense most people do not know they already have a
need, it just has not become urgent in their lives, a conscientious
discipler can suggest some things.

Ask
if they got the changed heart
The changed heart that all receive at salvation.
Most will describe a change which they initiated.
This is a good opportunity to ...
* explain the changes man makes
* explain the changes God makes
* His changes are the proof of salvation

Ask them
to read a pamphlet ...
* on Eternal Security
* on Salvation
* on Second Coming
These are of interest to most people.
Tell them you will be back in a week or 2 to see what they think,
that you are really interested in their reaction. If you can
get a reaction from them at the next visit, it will offer excellent
teaching opportunities.
Have another pamphlet ready for the next visit to
have an excuse to return again.

Pray over every reply they offer
* Pray with them, on the spot
* Ask them to pray after your prayer
* You may feel led to pray again, once you hear their reaction

Contrary to what many think, it has been a problem for many, many
years. Let us know what you have come up with that seems to
viable for the rest of us.
