Canopies
can be found at ...
* Wal-Mart
* Sam's
* Costco
* Academy Sports
Not all of these
stores even in the same chain carry the same products. So it is
difficult to say which is the best place to buy from.

What to look for
...
* Do not use a canopy that requires tie downs to stay up, even
in calm weather. All of them require weights to keep them from
blowing away.
* Should be 10'x10'
* Do not use the ones whose legs tilt in toward the middle
* Cannot find one that will say it is rain proof, but it must at
least be rain resistant. Some are very porous. Even dew will
come through.
* If you are using the canopy more than once a year, consider
getting one with removable sides. The sides are mainly for rain and
shade and noise, and sometimes privacy. Privacy is not much of an
issue with us. We do not raise our voice to
witness, but at the same time, do not care if others hear.
* A visor that shades the area in front of the booth is handy in
south Texas.
* To weight the booth down against winds ...
- Buckets of water are good if water is going to be handy at the events.
- We use 4" white PVC, 2 1/2' long, filled with sand
- Cinder blocks will work, but hard to carry around
- We suspend the weights from the 4 corners and do not let them touch the
ground.

Strong Winds
If it is apt to be windy (some places are, more than others) it is
best to bring the canopy down to half-mast and roll up the sides
when unattended at night, etc.
Keep the weights off the ground and you may want to drive some 4-6"
nails in leg feet, to keep them from sliding on the ground, even
when weighted.

It may not even be the best one. But it is by far the best, easiest
