What is the Worst Part about Hell?
1. The
worst part about Hell
* Is not the regret
* Is not the remorse
- for wasting a lifetime
- for not searching or listening for God
- for the foolishness that was traded for Heaven
2. The worst part about Hell
* Is not the Isolation - no friends, no family, no companionship
* Is not the Sightlessness - pitch black existence
"... to whom is reserved the blackness of
darkness for ever.”
The Bible - Book of Jude - Chapter
1 - Verse 13
3. The worst part about Hell
* Is not the Sorrow -
constantly remembering the opportunities to be
saved, but refused
because of stubborn pride
"... shall be cast out into outer darkness;
there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
The Bible - Book of Matthew -
Chapter 8 - Verse 12
4. The worst part about Hell
* Is not the Sounds of Suffering of
others - screams of agony of others constantly piercing the darkness
* Is not the Thirst - continual thirst for only a drop of water
"And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have
mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger
in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame."
The Bible - Book of Luke - Chapter
16 - Verse 24
5. The worst part about Hell
* Is not the Banishment from the presence
of God
"Who shall be punished with everlasting
destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his
power;"
The Bible - Second Book to the
Thessalonians - Chapter 1 - Verse 9
6. The worst part about Hell
* Is not the presence of Demons - The devil
and his disciples will also suffer with other inhabitants
"And the devil that deceived them was cast into
the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the
false
prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and
ever."
The Bible - Book of the Revelation
- Chapter 20 - Verse 10
7. The worst part about Hell
* Is not the Shame and Contempt -
Dan 12:2 "And many of them that sleep in the
dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to
shame and everlasting contempt."
The Shame here is an open rebuke.
The Contempt is a repulsive abhorrence.
8. The worst part about Hell
* Is not the constant burning Torment and
Fatigue -
"And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up
for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night"
The Bible - Book of the Revelation
- Chapter 14 - Verse 11
9. The worst part about Hell
* Is not the Wrath of God -
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting
life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the
wrath of God abideth on him."
The Bible - Book of John - Chapter
3 - Verse 36
This is not a
Dark Cloud over one's life, but anger from God, who is capable of
anger in an infinite way.
10. The worst part about Hell
* Is not the fact it is under Lock and
Key -
"I ... (Jesus) ... have the keys of hell and of
death."
The Bible - Book of the Revelation
- Chapter 1 - Verse 18
This is not a
"Time Out" or being made to sit in the corner or having to go to
your room without supper. This is locked away and the key
melted down.
11. The
worst part about Hell
* Is not the waking of each day to the same
suffering and angst
because there will be No Waking, because there is no sleep
12. The
worst part about Hell
* Is not the fact that there is No
Return
Luke 16:26 "And beside all this, between us
and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass
from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would
come from thence."
The Bible - Book of Luke - Chapter
16 - Verse 26
This is not as
if you have a round-trip ticket. Once the door is closed, the
sound of its opening will never be heard again.
13. The worst part about Hell
* Is not the pangs of guilt
* Is not the evidence of being a fool
* Is not the admission to following after the
wrong companions
* Is not the stripping of all cover for sin
* Is not knowing that everyone in Heaven knows
you deserve Hell
14. The worst part about Hell
is ...
it will NEVER
END. It is ...
* Everlasting
* Forever
* Eternal
* Non-Stopping and Non-Ending
"And these shall go away into everlasting
punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."
The Bible - Book of Matthew -
Chapter 25 - Verse 46
A person might think
they could stand any kind of suffering for a while
but in Hell the agony will ...
* never stop
* never slake
* never diminish
* never postpone
1 year from death it will still be going.
10 years from death it will still be going.
100 years from death it will still be going.
1,000 years from death it will still be going.
100,000 years from death it will still be going.
1,000,000 years from death it will still be going.
1,000,000,000 years from death it will still be going.
1,000,000,000,000 years from death it will still be going.
1,000,000,000,000,000 years from death it will just be getting under
way, but even at that, it will never end.
Let me say it another way.
If there was a fly that lived on the nearest star, made a trip to
earth to take 2 steps and fly back to his star, then upon arriving
at his star made another trip, walked 2 steps and flew back, again
and again until he had worn the earth down with his 2 tiny steps to
the size of a baseball. If he flew at 4 miles per hour each
trip would take 1.4 billion years, not counting the time to take the
2 steps. To wear down a hole in the earth the size of a pin
head, might take 1000's of trips. To wear the earth down to
the size of a pin head would not even be the first second of
eternity in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone.
If you would like to see
what it takes to remove the sentence
of condemnation,
and be
Born Again,
follow this Link.
Again, realize we are not asking you to be
Born Again.
We are simply asking you to just see it.
We are not asking you to do or be anything.
We are not asking you to commit or promise anything.
We are not asking you change your life.
We just want to show it to you.
What would it hurt, just to see it?
What does it take to be Born Again?
You must admit.
If a person could be forgiven of all sin,
and be promised an eternity of bliss
in the presence of God,
every person in all the world would want to just see what it takes,
if it was possible.
The only way for you to know
what it takes to be Born Again
is to just SEE it.
Yes, I
want to just see it.
No promises, I just want to look.
