"Love Your Neighbor
as Yourself"
This seems like the correct answer, but it's
not.
All Gifts are Free to Keep
When giving a Gift to someone you love or appreciate, you give
that Gift with no strings attached. When a Gift is received,
the receiver is not expected to Love everyone the following year to
be able to Keep the Gift. He or she is expected to receive it,
and open it and enjoy it. It is Free for them to Keep no
matter little or much they Love everyone else.
If the Keeping of a Gift is dependent
upon Love of others, then it is not a Gift at all, but payment
for their Love. Even our law states that any string attached
to a gift, indicates it is not a gift, but a reward for expected
behavior.
Gifts, all Gifts, are Free to Keep.
