Yes, I am involved in Prayer!
Wonderful!
Could I mention some conditions
for an excellent prayer life?
Pray purely
Pray from a confessed-up heart
* Acknowledge sin
* Turn from it
Psa 66:18 "If I regard iniquity in my heart,
the Lord will not hear me:"
Psa 66:19 "But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the
voice of my prayer."
Confession of known sin, opens God's ears and He
answers our prayers
Pray in unity
When praying with others, in person or at a
distance, pray
* in one accord
* with one heart
* with a single objective
Mat 18:19 "Again I say unto you, That if two of
you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask,
it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
Mat 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them."
When we pray in agreement God moves and joins.
Pray believingly
Pray in full faith
* That God is able to answer
* That God wants to answer
* That God will answer
Mat 21:22 "And all things, whatsoever ye shall
ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."
Praying with a believing heart is the path to
receiving.
Pray confidently
Praying by faith is different from praying
confidently
* Confident prayer is a prayer from assurance.
* Confidently praying because of past experience.
Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say unto you, What
things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them."
When we desire what God desires, "ye shall have
them".
Pray in Christ's name
Working or acting in someone's name is do so with
their full agreement
* To pray in Jesus' name is to ask for what He wants.
* To pray in Jesus' name is to have every assurance He will help.
John 14:13 "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my
name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
When asking in Jesus' name for what He wants is a
glory to the Father, because Jesus does everything to glorify the
Father.
Pray according to his will
This is a continuation of the previous.
Asking according to Jesus' will
* is to ask what He desires
* is to ask in full agreement with Him
1 John 5:14 "And this is the confidence that we
have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he
heareth us:"
If an employee went to the employer and said, "If
you will give us the tools we need, we are ready, willing and able
to do the work you want done," do you think the employer would
turn him down?
