No, I am not involved
in Church.
Why should I be involved?
You do not have to be part of a
Church to go to Heaven.
You are correct.
But you must be active in a Church to be Obedient.
"Not forsaking the assembling of
ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one
another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."
The Bible - Book of Hebrews -
Chapter 10 - Verse 25
Objection
But I do not like to be around hypocrites, who act one way at church
and another way elsewhere.
Of course, none of us want to be around
people like that. Even hypocrites cannot stand other
hypocrites.
But you are missing the rest of the
above verse ("but exhorting one another").
We are not to go to church to be ministered to, but to minister to
the rest. It says, we should be "exhorting one another".
* Exhort the hypocrites to turn from their ways.
* Exhort the non-hypocrites to live for Christ.
* Exhort yourself to turn from the hypocrisy in your own life. None
of us completely escape this God-despised sin.
* Exhort the pastor to stand for Jesus Christ and to win the lost.
Then volunteer to help him.
"And have no fellowship with the
unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."
The Bible - Book of Ephesians -
Chapter 5 - Verse 11
Blame them for their sin. Exhort them to do better.
