Why use the
King James Bible?

Another Agenda

Why don't all the other New Testaments use this Greek Text (Textus Receptus) for translating?
They are printing Bibles under copyrights to sell for profit.  If they only used the Textus Receptus to translate from, they could not justify enough differences to compete.

These printers have found 3 texts which seem to be older than all the rest and wrongly assume that since they were older, they must be closer to the original autographs.

This is proven wrong by the mere fact that the 3 differ widely between themselves.  If they were so close to non-error they ought to be almost identical among themselves.  If all 3 widely differ, only one can be right, but no one wants to make a case for any one of the 3.  They just want to sell Bibles.

Incidentally, the King James has no copyright.  It is sold from the standpoint of truth, not something ...
* new
* easier to read
* easier to understand
* and so on.

Also, none of the Copyrighted Bibles claim to be the true Bible.  They would have us all believe that God was not able to preserve His Word.

"The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."  Psalms 12:6-7

Copyrighted Bibles also have chosen a few from the 5000+ texts that survive today and given special emphasis to them, simply because they say what they want to translate.
