Why use the
King James Bible?
What has God promised from His Word?
Newness of Life
"Therefore if any man be in
Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold,
all things are become new."
2 Corinthians 5:17
If any person be in Christ,
saved or born again, that person is made a new person. It is a
change that God promised and makes in us. We may make some changes and we
should, but the promise is a change from God and the proof.
What kind of change?
They are many and frequent. But the first and prevalent
change is the desire God puts in every new heart, to tell others ...
*
"I am forgiven."
*
"I am on my way to Heaven."
*
"Wouldn't you like to know?"
* etc.
Saved people know that they are
different, they never wanted to say anything like the above before. Also, there is a definite change of
conscience. Sin takes on new meaning.
All of these changes happen right
away. Many more changes come later.
Few are able to articulate this
right away, but the new heart in every born again believer has the
desire to express these things or something similar.
The fact of having the God-changed
heart is proof the Bible is true, because it is a fulfillment of the
promise in the verse above. If you never received the change,
see "How
to be saved."
Since the Bible is true, then
"Which Bible"?
