A Short, but Effective Explanation

The Change

I cannot speak for others, but only for myself
I know a person is changed by God, not a change the person makes, because when I called on Jesus as Saviour and God, He changed me.

This was not a change which I made
I did not even know to expect a change.  It came on me.  I did not know what had happened.

The first thing I wanted to do, was tell others what happened to me and ask them, "Wouldn't you want that, too?"  The reason why I wanted to ask, is found in the next verse.

2 Cor 5:18 "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation"

Each that comes to Jesus as Saviour and God is reconciled (saved, born again) to the Father and are given the ministry of reconciling (salvation, new birth) others. 

Part of the proof is the testimony of others
* They always report a change
* They always want to tell others
