 1. May I be Retired and still serve?

Of course.  Many of our full time missionaries are retired.  Some are in their 80's.  But there are some in their 30's and 40's as well, and younger.  Occasions for soul winning abound regardless of age.

There are opportunities to fit
 - your situation
 - your health
 - your finances
 - your ability to travel or not travel at all
 - your available time
 - your experience

The only thing that you do not have is a lot of time left, regardless of your age.  Jesus is coming soon and the harvest is plenteous.  We are praying for you, the laborers, to join in the most exciting mission field
 - available on every continent
 - along any shore
 - amongst all the peoples of the earth

 2. Must I Travel extensively?

No.  You may travel as much or as little as you like.  Some missionaries do not own a travel trailer and still are on the road.  Some never leave home over night.  A few have sold their homes, living full time in their RV's.

There is a huge harvest in your hometown or surrounding counties.  Events can be worked just on Saturdays or just weekends, affording missionaries to stay at home and still take the Gospel to hundreds of their city or neighboring communities.

 3. Must I be a Bible School Graduate?

No.  We are looking for people who have graduated from a lost condition and want to share the Good News with others.

There are missionaries who are pastors, evangelists and foreign missionaries.  Some have professional degrees, but many only have degrees on their thermometer.  If you are saved, you are qualified to tell the lost that Jesus Christ is the Saviour and wants to bring them New Life.  We want to help you.

 4. Can I receive Hands-on Training?

Yes.  As a matter of fact, you must be trained.  All our missionaries have worked in the soul winning booth with experienced soul winners to learn first hand, at their own pace, exactly how it all works.

Telling some how to be saved, only requires being saved.  But working in a booth and dealing with the public requires a little "heads-up".  We use a few ideas, bought and paid for by years of experience, that are extremely helpful in stopping, engaging and seating prospects for a thorough witness.  Most pick up the "how-to's" very quickly, some in a single afternoon.

 5. Is Financial Support from Churches necessary?

No.  But support of some kind is vital.  If you have a steady job, semi-retired or completely on a pension and able to make a living is all that is required.  Some of our people have full support from churches, others partial, but most have outside income of some sort.

If you are presently tied to full time employment, but have Saturdays off, much can be accomplished for the Lord.  In some instances, even working only Sunday afternoons can be very effective.

The problem is not income or how it is obtained, but will you answer the call for laborers in the vineyard?

 6. Are there Clerical opportunities?

YES!  That answer was intended to be read loudly.  We have need of full time office help in Dayton, TN.  Some work can even be done at home.  Call and let us know of your office skills or lack there of and let's try to work out a way for us to help you and you the Lord.

 7. Is Missionary Experience necessary?

No.  Probably 90% or more of our people never worked as any kind of a missionary.  Soul winning is not a science that needs to be studied.  It is simply telling the Lost how to be saved.  If you are saved, you qualify to be a witness.  You simply need a few pointers in booth work.

 8. May I work alone? w/ my wife? w/ other Missionaries?

Yes.  Yes.  And, yes.  Couples work together, but singles do very well, too.  Some work with other missionaries only.  What are your needs?  This is the criteria.  Soul Winning opportunities can be tailored to your situation.

 9. May I work Part Time?

Yes.  You may work part time, full time, any time, all the time, some time, when you have time.  If you do not have time to serve the Lord by taking the Gospel to the lost, you need to repent of your busy-ness.  Get started before you get lost in the cares of this world.

 10. Is Soul Winning Training available?

Yes.  We train missionaries who feel inadequate to witness.  This is usually only their feeling.  If you are saved, you qualify as a Witness for Jesus.  As I write this column, I reflect back on 27 years of soul winning.  Some of those years leading hundreds to the Lord.  Yet, every time I sit down with a prospect, it seems the Lord shows me something a little different.  Not because I am smart enough to learn, but because I was available to learn.

Will you make yourself available to Jesus Christ and be a soul winner for Him.  He is worthy of your life.

How do I get more information?

Call and ask for a Prospective Missionary Packet.  There are no obligations.  No one will badger you.  You will not be targeted.

We could not put together 60 to 80 couples to work Fairs, Festivals, Flea Markets in all 50 states and on 4 continents (and counting) by twisting arms and intimidating earnest enquiries.
